The MatePad SE 11 with M-Pen was released on Sunday, May 9, worldwide. The tablet is supposedly the replacement for the MatePad SE, which debuted in 2022 and had features including a 5,100mAh battery and a 10-inch display. The new MatePad SE 11 has an 11-inch full-HD+ screen and a larger 7,700mAh battery, which are two improvements over the previous model. Support for the M-Pen light pen is also included.
Cost and availability of the Huawei MatePad SE 11
Regarding the Huawei MatePad SE 11’s price, no official word has been released. Notably, the MatePad SE, its predecessor, debuted in China in 2022. For CNY 1,499 (about Rs. 17,300), the Wi-Fi-only model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage was the cost.
Specifications and features of the Huawei MatePad SE 11
The 11-inch full-HD+ LCD screen on Huawei’s latest tablet has a pixel density of 207 ppi or pixels per inch. The panel reportedly has a revolutionary eBook mode, 100% sRGB coverage, and 400 nits of peak brightness.
It comes with an M-Pen light pen that, when used in conjunction with the Huawei Notes software, adds capabilities like multi-window and multi-screen collaboration. Supposedly, Kids Corner comes with a range of kid-friendly features such as a blue-light filter, poster alarms, eBook mode, and more.
It weighs 475g and has dimensions of 252.3 x 163.8 x 6.9 mm. There are two colour options for the MatePad SE 11: Nebula Gray and Crystal Blue. It has a metal unibody.
Huawei has chosen not to disclose the specifications of the tablet’s CPU, but rumours are circulating about it potentially featuring either a Snapdragon 680 or a Kirin 710A chipset, depending on the region. The SoC comes with up to 128GB of internal storage and up to 8GB of RAM. HarmonyOS 2.0 operates on the MatePad SE 11.
The tablet’s optics include a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel back camera with 1080p video recording capability. The tablet has a 7,700mAh battery that supports USB Type-C 22.5W rapid charging. The Huawei MatePad SE 11 also has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and BLE, OTG capability, and a quad-speaker configuration.
