The company announced its India debut. The smartphone will soon dominate the flagship range with the introduction of the Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion. Flipkart’s microsite revealed the phone’s specifications and AI functions ahead of its official launch.
Key specs, Motorola Edge 50 Ultra India launch date
In contrast to the worldwide model’s 16GB RAM, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will come with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.. Flipkart has launched a Motorola Edge 50 Ultra website in India.
According to the website, the smartphone would have a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. According to reports, the panel boasts a peak brightness of 2500 nits and covers the entire DCI-P3 color gamut.
Motorola promises an in-display fingerprint scanner and Gorilla Glass Victus protection for the Edge 50 Ultra. The IP68 dust and water-resistant designation is certified.
The phone will operate on a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 CPU and include Moto AI, including Magic Canvas, which generates AI graphics from text prompts.
The worldwide model has 16GB RAM, however, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will feature 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Motorola guarantees three years of OS updates and up to four years of security patches.
The phone supports 125W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The smartphone will also give customers 10W wireless power sharing to charge smartwatches and TWS earphones.
Motorola said the Edge 50 Ultra will include Smart Connect, which enables users to stream apps to PCs, copy/paste text and photos, exchange data, and use the phone as a camera.
Confirmed are three rear cameras: a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It will have a 50-megapixel selfie camera. According to reports, the camera system boasts AI adaptive stabilization and an impressive 100x AI super zoom.
