Motorola Edge 50 Ultra was unveiled in April of this year, along with the launch of the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, which is presently accessible in India. The ultra-premium version is currently being hinted to make its national debut shortly. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a 4,500mAh battery with support for both wired and wireless fast charging, along with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. Notably, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, another phone in the Edge 50 family, made its debut in India in April.

The Motorola India handle on X tweeted a “coming soon” smartphone teaser, formerly Twitter. The future phone’s hollowed-out rear panel is the sole feature visible in the picture. It’s the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, especially the Nordic Wood model, as confirmed by the camera unit locations and the wooden-textured rear panel. The image’s wording, which says, “‘Wood’ you believe it?” supports this.
It is anticipated that the specifications of the incoming Motorola Edge 50 Ultra in India will be comparable to those of its international equivalent.
Features and characteristics of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra
There is a 6.7-inch 144Hz full-HD+ pOLED screen on the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. With up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, and an Android 14-based Hello UI, it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
The 4,500mAh battery of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra supports 50W wireless and 125W wired rapid charging. Dual 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, NavIC, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C connection are among the connectivity choices available. It has an IP68 classification for dust and water protection as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
